Lake Country Human Resource Association Board Meeting Minutes June 9, 2005

Minutes of the April 14, 2005 board meeting was reviewed.

Welcome to the two new incoming board members: Nancy Belka, member at large and Chris Kotschevar, member at large.
Sharlo Meyer will be the new President Elect, Natasha Bretz the new President and Thanks to Carolyn Simon for all her hard work, the out going President.

Natasha and Sharlo attended the State Leadership Conference and discussed their time there and all they learned. They will also be reviewing this at the July meeting.

Natasha reviewed all the benefits of the SHRM web-site and all it has to offer and we encourage all members to utilize it. If you are not a SHRM member the benefits are well worth the cost of joining the organization.

The July meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn Patio (barring any bad weather) from 3-4:30 on July 14th. A round table discussion will take place with the board bringing in some scenarios on Harassment, Workers Cop, ADA, FMLA and Drugs/Alcohol. If anyone has anything else to share you are welcome to bring it.

Carolyn will be taking over the legislative updates.
