Board Meeting Minutes October 5, 2007

Minutes of the August, 2007 board meeting was reviewed.

Minnesota State SHRM Conference will be held in St. Cloud this month. It seems there is going to be a good turnout from LCHRA. Jackie will be unable to attend the conference due to a conflict in scheduling. Teresa will get the basket to the conference.
Missy will set a social hour for any members that wish to get together Sunday evening about 6pm.

The November meeting we will have the Village Family Services in speaking on Bridging the Gap.

December board meeting we will focus on an action plan for increasing membership.

January LCHRA meeting will be held as usual at the Arvig Building in Perham with a round table discussion on Performance Appraisals.

March LCHRA meeting we will set something up in the area of workers compensation and safety.

May LCHRA meeting focus will be elections and possibly a new survey on topics of discussion and programming.

The next board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 13, 2007, 8:30 – 9:30 am, Sunflower Hill Coffee Shop in the Detroit Lakes Washington Square Mall.
