Minutes of the board meeting were reviewed and approved.
Upcoming Programming was discussed.
August – no meeting
September – Leadership Training by Greg Holder
October – Aging Workforce and Retirement presented by
November – Hiring Assessment by Jill Berg
December – Round Table on unions - Theresa Halverson to present on her union experience
January – Employee Retention with a speaker from The Village
February – open
March – Building trust/credibility
April – Conference
Roger Cullen recommended Bill Martinson from Enterprise is available for speaking on training issues, etc. We will keep him on our list for back up at this time.
Financials were approved as distributed. April was a good month.
Details of Education Conference were discussed. Jackie Buboltz has agreed to coordinate efforts. The conference will be help in April. Locations, speakers and vendors will be investigated and discussed at the next meeting.
SHRM has requested that our chapter donated a basket again for the conference.
The next board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 13 at 8:30 am at Sunflower Café in Detroit Lakes, MN. A meeting will follow regarding conference planning at 9:00 am.
