Minutes of the board meeting were reviewed and approved.

Upcoming Programming was discussed.

November – Aging Workforce and Retirement presented by Lori Meader

December – Round Table on unions - Theresa Halverson to discuss on her union experience

January – Employee Retention with a speaker from The Village

February – Hiring Assessment presented by Jill Berg

March – open

April – Conference

Financials were approved as distributed.

The April Conference committee will meet following the group meeting. The conference is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Holiday Inn in Detroit Lakes, MN and will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Lori Meader volunteered to have an ACS employee update the LCHRA website.

The MN SHRM conference is scheduled for Oct 11-13^th. Theresa Halverson and Kellie Weller plan on attending.

The next board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 12 at 8:00 am at Arvig in Perham, MN.
